Our Teachers

Kristine Ward

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit our site and inquire on our program offerings.  I have been practicing Yoga since 1999, after looking for many years for the "right" form of exercise and have also completed more than 200 hrs training with accomplished teachers including Shiva Rea, Shakta Kur and Tim Miller.  I fell in love with Yoga when I discovered so many benefits that affected me physically, mentally, and spiritually. It also greatly helped me combat the chronic back pain that I had been fighting since the age of 18, along with the stress that seemed to always bring it on.

In 2003, I completed the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training program at Therapeutic Approach Yoga Studio in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  My classes are a good work out, yet my approach is always gentle to encourage my students to build their own practice.
